Rio Ancho Ranch

As a 13 year old boy, I have really enjoyed my experience living in Rio Ancho so far! We have lived here a little over a year. The neighborhood has a great river to fish and swim in and a clubhouse with a playground, pool and basketball court- which is a great place to throw parties! There are many cool kids in the neighborhood who I really enjoy hanging out with. It was hard for me to move away from my friends back in Austin, but Rio Ancho and its people have made it much easier for me to get settled in. Rio Ancho may have had some problems with the water over the summer, but we no longer do. There is construction going on, but it really doesn't effect daily life. In fact, it is making the neighborhood even better than it already is because it's making room for more families to move in! I

As a resident I thoroughly enjoy every aspect of the neighborhood. It is right next to the beautiful San Gabriel river, which is a perfect place for kids. It also has a playground and basketball court which are also fantastic places to enjoy the weekend at. The pool is also great, it is well maintained and a blast on hot days. The people are very kind and I haven't met an unhappy resident. I strongly urge anyone to look for a house or even build here. The builder of our home (Hollywood Custom Homes) was fantastic and I'd recommend them (Forrest) any day.

After years of feeling cramped in crowded neighborhoods in and around Austin, we fell in love with the spacious acreage lots and lovely landscape of Rio Ancho Ranch. With access to the San Gabriel river just yards from our home, we easily enjoy the tranquility of this beautiful setting all year long. The homes in Rio Ancho are mostly custom-built, which lends to the uniqueness of the neighborhood – no two homes are alike and all have a special Texas-meets-Tuscany charm. If you’re thinking you need to escape the noise, traffic and overcrowding of the city, just head north to Rio Ancho Ranch.

I love my new home. I absolutely love the neighborhood. However I do not love the fact that the neighborhood does not have an adequate water system to support the number of homes that are currently occupied. We run out of water, have extremely low water pressure, are constantly under a stage 3 water restriction, and have boil water notices issued on a weekly basis. Sometimes multiple times in a week. I STRONGLY discourage anyone from building or purchasing an existing home in this neighborhood until AQUA Texas brings the water system up to the State specifications!!!!

My wife and I purchased a Pacesetter home in Rio Ancho Ranch in December of 2015, so we have lived there for almost a year. We had a great experience with Pacesetter, especially Rhonda Rispoli, our sales agent and Keith Kneeland, the Site Superintendent. Our house is very well built, and the minor issues we had were promptly taken care of by Keith. The service did not stop after the sale, they were on top of everything until it was fixed right. Rhonda and Keith are extremely professional and a pleasure to work with. Our buying experience with Pacesetter was excellent. We love the Rio Ancho community and couldn't be happier with our home.
