Ocean View Terrace Apartments

We have lived at Oceanview Terrace Apartments over 5 years. Our two story, 2 bed, 1 1/2 bath unit is wonderful. There is a patio downstairs and one off the master bedroom. We have a carport and storage above it. There's extra parking and we are about a mile from the beach. We ride our bikes there frequently. Our landlady, Judy, is very kind and is prompt to get us assistance if needed. We feel very safe here and have had no problems. We highly recommend Oceanview!

An updated review about how terrible this place is: We just moved out of our apartment. We hired cleaners per Claire’s request. We were just informed that upon cleaning the tub, the cleaners discovered black mold that was painted over with white paint. I can’t believe this establishment would cover this up. They are lucky that my partner and I didn’t have pre existing health conditions. Again, I strongly advise DO NOT LIVE HERE. Claire and her husband and pathological liars and extremely shady. Shady enough to paint over black mold and put us in danger for a year.

Please read this carefully! Do NOT move here! My boyfriend and I moved into 442 unit 19 which is directly next to Claire's apartment. We have a dog who is a trained service animal and protected by the ADA. Claire seemed kind in the beginning, but that was short lived. Her constant harassment began we she complained to us that our dog was barking "all day" while my boyfriend and I were at work. The complaints got to be so frequent, that we decided to get a recording device to leave in our home while we were away. To our surprise, our dog only barked when someone was near the door. If he did bark, it was once or twice. When we confronted Claire, she backpedalled her remarks recognizing that we caught her in a lie. Little did we know we were going to catch her in SEVERAL lies. I moved from Michigan to California to be near my son. I found Ocean View Terrace's website and fell in love just looking at the pictures. Ron, Claire and Judy couldn't have been more helpful. I love my one bedroom apartment and love the large patio with a beautiful ocean breeze.It is bright and close to major highways and the ocean. There is no dishwasher in the one bedroom's which I really miss, but it's ok. After I moved in I had a problem with the bathroom faucet. Within an hour Alex was at my door to replace the faucet! I'm looking to spend my retirement years right here. Thank you Ron, Claire, Judy and Alex. You are a great management team.

My apartment had mold and LARGE rats. Claire also falsely accused me of doing things that I didn't do. It's also loud, and I could hear and feel my downstairs neighbor's stereo often.
