Oakwood Shores

We moved to Oakwood Shores in January 2020 purchasing the smallest model of Bell Lago, on a court, lakeside view. Coming here from Dublin, our 2 bedroom 2 1/2 townhouse with 55 stairs and a one car garage to our 4 bedroom 3 1/2 bathroom with a 3 car garage and a backyard was a no brainer for us. Neighbors are wonderful and I like the privacy, we are truly secluded. The train and HWY 120 is close to us, but neither bother us- we actually like the sound of the train! HOA and board, YES needs some work however I am hopeful things will be better! We have zero regrets moving from the Bay, we love Oakwood Shores!

Homeowners do not want to give their honest opinions about this community for fear of their property value going in the tank.. Many problems with HOA and board doing nothing. Payoffs to get homes built that shouldn’t have due to many citations by the state of Calif over water/sewage Issues. Plus, Lafferty is having money problems.

Just steps away from the serenity of the foothills and bearable commutes to affluent jobs in the Bay area, this area strikes a great balance of affordable living and healthy well-being.!!.

Beautiful homes on a man-made lake, near loud freeway. Security sux. Good pool area & community room. Lotsa parking.

Cameras are broken and have been for years and the board will do nothing about it to fix them, we have very little security presence which means they just give tickets to the home owners for parking on the street between the hours of am and 6 am.
