Oaks of Baytown Apartments

Need to start fixing these issues. I just moved in and I submitted three work orders only for people not to come. Do you know how hard it is to be home and not work all day? It’s insulting that I’m paying close to $ 1100 and only been here for 4 months. Like, come on. From the laundry room not working properly and being cleaned to the stray animal all throughout the property. Please replace these maintenance men. It’s really depressing. I’m talking about the property being littered with dog poop and trash, kids running around yelling and screaming. I would have chosen a drug den before this hell hole. Also, why did the maintenance man close the ticket out the same day before doing the work? Why happened if I had a dishwasher that backed up or a fridge that went out , whole in the calling c

We have lived here for two years. The A/C went out last year and it still has not been fixed properly despite multiple requests to fix it. The office is almost always closed and trying to get them on the phone is an act of congress. We plan on moving out as soon as our lease is up, but please take my advice. DO NOT MOVE HERE! The lady in the office has a terrible attitude and the manager is dismissive at best. The maintenance man told us the was ordering a part for our a/c months ago and has not returned nor given an update, and when we ask all we get is an "I'll have to check." Im beyond tired of this.

The property is a bit older, but the company does a great job keeping it updated with ongoing remodels. Since the new leasing agent started, things have really improved—she’s incredibly kind, helpful, and gets work orders taken care of fast. The assistant manager and property manager are also amazing—always on top of things and quick to help. Maintenance is super responsive and fixes issues right away. Also, I have to say, the ladies in the office are not only helpful but also beautiful and welcoming. For the price, this is a great place to live

I want to warn others about my experience with this property’s deceptive application process. After inquiring about a unit, I received an email with a link to the property’s website. From there, I clicked “Apply” and was taken to their online application. To complete it, I was required to pay: $25 application fee $75 administration fee $100 holding fee (refundable only if denied) Nowhere in the online process was it clearly stated that the $25 and $75 would be non-refundable if denied. Texas law (Property Code § 92.351) is clear: before collecting any application fees, landlords must provide applicants with their written tenant selection criteria. Termites, mold and everything else is how I’m going to describe the apartment. Ac went out multiple times, getting ahold of maintenance after hours is a joke. Termites were literally eating at the walls where you could see damage to walls, multiple water spots in the ceiling.when moving out it’s like I got blammed for everything and more. Never again.
