The Northward Building has been in Fairbanks since the 1900s had classy apartments and a barber shop and a bar downstairs. It's been a popular place since it first was planned to be built. Times were different in those days. Our Northward Building has grown along with Fairbanks for years.
I have lived here since 2008 as convenient location and buses in walking distance as are various restaurants some great shops and businesses downtown...lots of fun events in summer time as just go next block over for some and in winter close by to either start or finish line to Yukon quest, Iditarod and many things..close to visitor center and really a lot ..3 blocks from the river..some parks to take kids to play grounds within 10 to 15 min walk.. really convenient area
Elevator service is out alot. Security is a bit of a joke since there's a great deal of cell phone disruption in the building. I wish Noble entrance open more.
I love living here and the people in the office are wonderful. Great maintenance staff as well. The building also has security staff.
