I’m sad to write this because I wanted to like it here so much but I cannot take the noise anymore. The units are advertised to have sound conditioned construction (which is the sole reason I chose this place over another I was offered) but you can hear EVERYTHING your neighbors are doing. They could be talking at a normal volume and it’ll be like you’re in the room with them. Everyone is so loud (slamming doors, stomping all hours of the day, yelling in the halls). I haven’t been able to practice my religion because of the noise. And while I understand that’s how apartment buildings are, this is excessive compared to other buildings I’ve lived in. I lived in one paying literally half this in the middle of a busy city that wasn’t nearly this loud. I moved thinking that a more rural area
Tried calling quite a few times but ended up having to leave a voicemail. Got a call back a while later and was able to get an appointment. When I arrived it was difficult to know where to go. The front door is locked with a code and I was not given instructions to get in. Some random person let me in (this concerns me if I lived there). The apartment I was shown was not clean. It wasn’t really dirty either but I was surprised they would show you an apartment before it’s been cleaned. There were many small cosmetic imperfections that I would have expected to be fixed before I viewed the apartment. The patio looks really nice and the convenience area will be nice, but the front lobby was pretty packed full of packages. I thought the package center would be more secure. She mentioned there w
The only reason im giving a one star is because I had to. I am posting this anonymously because the management here is extremely petty, and they will evict you for no reason. DO NOT MOVE IN HERE, if I could go back in time and stop myself from signing a lease here I would. This place is absolutely horrible and not worth a single cent in rent. They have no parking I mean EVER. No where. Even the streets are filled with cars from this place. If I could cut our lease way short without being evicted or it negatively affecting me, I 100% would. They DO NOT clean apartments before you move in, your apartment WILL flood if it rains outside, and they won't do anything to fix it. It smells like weed constantly, they do not care about their tenants. I repeat DO NOT MOVE IN HERE. Although they keep m
This building is brand new and well designed. Management is friendly and hard working. I haven’t requested maintenance yet but all of my questions and concerns were addressed quickly and helpfully during my move-in process. Having dog bags and disposal for dog owners is a huge help. The neighborhood is not my favorite area of Carlisle, but the spacious, quality living spaces in the building more than make up for it.
Lots to unpack here. I think much of the issues I've read here are more a tenant-issue vs management issue. What do I mean? There were a lot of people who didn't follow the rules: they left dog crap everywhere, didn't break down boxes and cause the recycling to fill up too quick and didn't throw trash in the dumpster but rather left them sitting out. I did talk to management, who paid for trash collection to come several times a week and were under the impression they were. When I told them that wasn't the case, the trash area miraculously cleared up. Communication is important. I've also seen trash and poop everywhere, but, again, it's a tenant problem for being trashy. The apartment was nice and spacious. I had a 1BR. However, I felt they were cheaply made.
