2 stars is generous. Disappointed is an understatement. After being promised that our punch list would be completed to our satisfaction prior to closing, we scheduled a final walk through the Saturday before we were going to close (Monday morning). Only a handful of the items had been addressed, the house was filthy and everything that was addressed was made worse. Chips out of the floor and stains on the carpet. Paint was slapped on, wrong colors were used and there was film all over the floors that we are still working to remove. After closing, the very first time we used our dishwasher it wouldn’t drain. We found it caked with drywall spackle. We have also had the HVAC people out 3 times in 2 weeks because the ducts rattle when the heat is on. Yet to be resolved. The superintendent had

I wish I had the same experience as the great reviewers on here, but since I’m not a local relator or mortgage lender (which I assume North Rock uses) then I don’t receive the same level of service. I even have to repeatedly ask if my text messages are received because of the no response I receive. I’ve tried since the beginning of July to have them add grout in between the wood floor and the tile areas but nothing has happened. The quality of work regarding the wood floor installation is subpar at best. The pictures I’ve added show the space between the tile & flooring that goes directly to the foundation. I’m a local AR real estate broker and bought a year old Northrock built home and the attention to detail is above and beyond. They built half my subdivision and have heard no complaints about working with Northrock or the homes themselves. If you’re looking to work with an honest, quality conscious builder then look no further! They welcome buyers agents too!

Homes are not perfect. They're built by workers, and they are going to have scuffs, marks, and imperfections. Northrock builds a quality home. There are a LOT of things included in a Northrock build that the average home buyer won't see, but it's what sets this builder up on a higher level of quality. Here are some examples: They insulate the garage doors and walls. They include ceiling fans in bedrooms, the tile in the bathroom goes to the ceiling. There are 8 ft doors throughout, and 10 foot ceilings in the living areas and primary bedroom. There's an attic ladder that pulls down. These are things we as buyer tend to overlook when focused on scratches and easy fixes.
