I’ve been a resident at Hamden Commons now for 20 years. And the management company has really done nothing to improve the condo complex. I asked about getting the roof fixed a year ago, but nothing was done, and it was still leaking into my condo during a bad rainstorm. Also, there have been interior issues in my building, especially with the doors, and my door is taped with packaging tape because the wood had detached from the door. Importantly today after the bad snowstorm, none of the parking lot was cleared or the walkways for the residence and no sign of a plow since 4 o’clock this morning to have a chance to move their cars and no sign of a plow since 4 o’clock this morning.

I do understand some of the reviews on here but I want to voice my opinion and my experience. Norman isn’t angry, it’s his personality. We would rather adjust to the fact that not everyone is fluffy and sunshine and have a management company that is incredibly organized and extremely responsive. I probably talk to Norman every day/every other day and he gets back to me within minutes if I leave a message. This includes nights, weekends and holidays. The office staff is wonderful- our books are handled properly, efficiently and in a organized manner. Jessica is an absolute pleasure to work with. Now we manage our property perhaps a little differently. We as a board are “all in” and completely hands on with most issues. Once we got through the transition and adjusted to Norman’s persona

Had a plumbing issue that had to do with the main line in my daughter's condo complex. She can't use her only toilet!!!!! 4 days, multiple calls and still has not sent a plumbing company out. She's called, I've called. His "I'll take care of it" means nothing 🤬

We weren't looking for someone who is "fluffy and sunshine", Julie. That statement is ridiculous. Norman became angry every time we had the smallest request. He would fluff things off and ignore us. He simply did not want to be bothered. He would outright refuse to work with us. He "checked out" months before his contract ended. He was just awful.

Norman is the rudest, angriest, sarcastic, unprofessional man I have met in many years. He doesn't return phone calls. He doesn't follow up. He fluffs off important repairs. I don't know how this guy stays in business.
