My closing was very quick and easy! I was a first time homebuyer so the settlement process was new to me. Tom and Ashley were super helpful with the entire process. They also let me pay ahead of time with a check so I didn’t have to make a special trip to my credit union and pay an extra fee for a cashiers check or pay a fee to wire the money. I recommend doing this as it was nice having the money there ahead of time so you can just go in and sign the papers.

I was a long time multiple closing client until after our last refinance with them. They relayed they tried once to reach me by phone to tell me my check was in, but got a full message and never tried to contact me further. After a month and a half, I contacted the bank thinking the issue was on that end to find that Nittany Settlement had my check for the whole time. If I had not have contacted them, my check, that I was unfortunately already paying interest on, would still be there. They refused to do anything to correct this lack of service. Never even got a sorry or a direct response from the owner who made the determination that they would not address the issue.

Nittany Settlement always gets it right with all closings we have had with our clients over the years. This is NOT the case with others in Centre County. If anyone wants details about who NOT to have do a closing and who we forbid to handle a closing with a real estate sale, contact me anytime...
