Southside Commons

By far the best place I have lived in State College! The location has an amazing mix of a quiet & relaxing area while still being close enough to downtown as well as the busier areas along Atherton to make going out easy. The quality of the units is very good and there is plenty of storage and floor space for a reasonable price. One of the best things about Southside Commons, in my opinion, is the property management staff! They are very responsive and are a joy to work with. They do their jobs well and it really feels like they are working with you to resolve issues together. I highly recommend living here, if you have the opportunity!

I've lived at Southside Commons for the past year, and my experience has been so great. The apartment itself is furnished in new furniture with new appliances. The kitchen is very modern and chic, as well as the living room. Every room has its own lock which is great for privacy and security. Maintenance staff is very accommodating for whatever needs to be fixed. The location is great its not too far from campus, and there's grocery stores and gyms that are only a walk away! The area is a very quiet community, I highly recommend living at Southside Commons!

Southside Commons (managed by College Town Communities) was one of the nicest, cleanest units I’ve moved in to since moving to State College a few years ago. Minimal touch up cleaning was needed (compared to days of deep cleaning at other properties not managed by this company), which made the actual moving process so much more efficient and less stressful. Furnishings and appliances all match very well with the apartment (rather than being a ton of miscellaneous furnishings thrown together in one unit).The management team was also very communicative and willing to answer any questions we had throughout the move in process.

By far the best place I have lived during my college career. The apartment units are fully furnished with everything anyone would need and more. The kitchen is also equipped with all needed appliances such as a microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator. Furthermore Southside commons is placed in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. In addition, the key fob makes me feel very safe since I can lock my bedroom door as well as the front door. I would highly recommend living here!!!

My roommate and I had the best experience here. We had an apartment which was two bedroom and one a half bathrooms, along with a fully furnished kitchen, a beautiful living room, and large bedrooms. The neighborhood is peaceful and with a home feeling and contacting maintenance, or whoever needed was always simple with fast and active responses. Would highly recommend!!
