Would not recommend at all! In reference to your comment Texas has been in a major drought until recently and we found water damage in the house along the marriage line is why this is now being reported. The roof ridge cap does not have the rubber seals on most of this roof along the ridge cap(this is a metal roof)one section does have the rubber seal, the rest do not. So we have multiple sections that are not sealed which is required with the metal roof. So you state that this is not an installation issue then where did the rubber seal stripes go if they were installed properly? Also only the one section that is sealed has enough screws to properly secure the ridge cap. The rest of the ridge cap has a minimal amount holding the ridge cap on.
