Moreland Manor Apartments - Aspiring to Antastafae

I lived here from 2020-2022. The maintenance people constantly break the lease by entering after I had told them to call me and that I want to be home when my apartment needs work. Neglect to care for water damage that was from the apartment above me. My kitchen was a mushroom/fungus and mold growing machine behind the caulking of the counter which was coming off. All they kept doing was sending someone in to paint the walls which is not how you fix mold and water damage. This eventually went on for about 5 months before they finally came in and did the proper work after I begged them too. We were unable to use our kitchen for all of the holidays even though they had promised to get it done for the week of thanksgiving but didn’t do it until January when the situation first occurred back

Despite this company trying to seem like I'm leaving 1 star due to them taking me to court two months after I had secured additional housing, I'd like to speak to why they really get 1 star. I stayed at these apartments for 2 winters. The majority of both winters I had no heat in my apartment. These apartments in this building are heated by a SEVERELY outdated boiler system running through the floors that malfunctions frequently. Next, the internal plumbing and leaks of this building are endless. We didn't have running water for days and the solution management thought best was to bring us 5 gallons of water responsible for all our water needs. I would rate this place zero stars if I could. The building is in complete shambles and is in a constant state of disarray. To start, the garage leaks any time it rains, the dirt caked carpet is permanently stained and they refuse to replace it, and the apartments consist of constantly leaking ceilings. They also up-charged me by about $300 on my rent after living there for two months and there was nothing I could do about it -- this was not due to damages sustained while I was living there, it was due to the management company being bought by Antastafae who increased the rent of all tenants and voided my free parking agreement that was on my inital lease. Unfortunately the reviews about the garage flooding are true to this day. I asked about the garage prior to signing my lease & was told the issue was resolved. The flooding is so bad that it extends out of the garage & blocks the trash dumpsters from use. I submitted a work order online, and it was promptly closed with no phone call or explanation and no vendor coming to fix the issue yet. Pictures over a span of time have been uploaded.

Not clean, rude managers. Basement and other parts dirty. Over priced and u pay for everything. The apartments are either very cold or very hot. And then ull pay for air conditioner if you have to have one. Unconcerned about safety
