Looking at the previous reviews they are telling no lie! My issues started day one with Rachel saying she walk the unit a day before I moved in and she didn’t. The apartment was left in a horrible condition from the previous tenants who lived here before. I guess she thought I was going to be ok with the way the apartment was left. She calls me the morning of my move in date to tell Me the apartment wasn’t ready. The carpets were full of dirt and tore up. I was also missing door stoppers, dirt left on the blinds. Smoke detectors detached Washer and dryer broken. Counter tops cracked. Sink and cabinets needed to be readjusted with sticky nasty stuff left in the cabinets.ETC Then she wanted me to push my move in date back after I then signed a legal contract saying my move in date would be

Mode at Owings Mills is the worst apartment complex I’ve ever lived in. There is absolutely no care, urgency, or follow-through from management. I’ve submitted multiple emails and work orders about a severe toilet leak from the unit above, with sewage leaking into my apartment, and still received no resolution. This is a serious health and safety issue—especially for a family with a child. This is actually the second bathroom leak I’ve experienced here that has gone ignored. There are piles of trash from evictions sitting in the hallways and residents regularly dump trash in the stairwells, drawing roaches and fruit flies into my unit. I’ve had several maintenance issues since moving into this apartment complex, but the most concerning has been an ongoing leak under my kitchen sink. I submitted multiple maintenance requests to have it repaired. Unfortunately, the tickets were closed out each time without the issue actually being resolved. Because the leak was never properly fixed, mold has now developed under the sink, which has started causing respiratory problems. This is not only frustrating but also a serious health concern. I have contacted both the leasing office and maintenance team multiple times, but the issue has not been handled appropriately, and communication has been very disappointing. I would expect better follow-through, especially when it comes to health and safety matters. I hope management takes this

Mode at Owings Mills has been a complete disaster from the start. I initially signed the lease, but just a day before moving in, I was told the previous tenant hadn't vacated. I had to threaten legal action just to get a unit, and what I received was an apartment with no proper turnover maintenance. The place is full of paint marks, and the washer and dryer are not working. Despite submitting over 10 maintenance requests, all of which were ignored. When I followed up at the office, they dismissed my concerns, saying my issues weren't emergencies unless they involved a broken pipe. I made them understand that I have a one-year-old child with a cold who often needs a change of clothes due to his runny nose, and the lack of functional laundry equipment in the unit was highly unacceptable. Today is 2/15 , 3 weeks since we experience the snow storm on 1/25 and the sidewalks is still not clear not only is this a major liability as snow removal is included in the lease this is unacceptable , I wouldn’t recommend this community to a soul these pictures are as of today ‼️
