So glad I shopped around for my mortgage and found Members Mortgage Company. They partner with credit unions and offered me a much more competitive rate than large banks. John McSherry was fantastic to work with. He was responsive and made everything as easy as possible. Even our realtor was impressed! Please consider working with a credit union to keep your money in the community.

We don't typically leave reviews until the experience was either extremely bad or extremely good. In this case it was extremely bad, would give zero stars if we could. The person we had helping us with the loan was Peter, he was terrible at communicating. Many unanswered emails and calls, we left voicemails but none were returned. When we did get through to him via phone, there were many promises of a call back but none never happened. Wish I can go into details about the entire experience but just know, everyone involved was annoyed, the seller, seller's attorney, real estate agent, us, etc. Would not recommend this company even if they paid us. Highly Recommend! I've used Members Mortgage (Peter R) both for the mortgage on my first home and then again for a re-finance. I had a great experience. He got me a great rate and was easy to get in touch with. He made the process really easy for us--we had a lot of questions since I'm an accountant and like a lot of detail. I found the team to be courteous and helpful. I will continue to suggest them to any friends looking for a mortgage.
