McCarty Place Apartments

Penny, our current property manager, goes ABOVE AND BEYOND, to make sure all of her residents are taken care of. And not only taken care of, but HAPPY. Before she became our manager, we were actively looking for a new place to live. Penny made the decision easy, and we just renewed our lease. She has done MORE than the last three managers even TRIED to do. Thank you, Penny! ♥️

this place is actually the worst! between maintenance requests that go unanswered, the property manager having no sense of professionalism, and the apartments aren't great either- the laminate floor in the living room has lumps in it, the carpet is NOT clean when you first move in, and the bathroom grows mold. There is also an ongoing infestation with wasps in the roof of building B, at least. I was delightfully joined by a wasp in my shower multiple times, and ended up having to caulk a hole in my ceiling of my bathroom in order to stop them from coming in further. CPM is not a company that you want to rent with, and definitely not here!

Different owners same people running the facilities - so no changes from previous reviews. No on site office so you have to call in issues - and when you do that the customer service is subpar; they'll catch attitude if you ask for a call back IF you're able to get ahold of someone. Onsite maintenance will not do anything unless it's called in. But again, you may not get ahold of someone if you do call it in. But hey if you can disregard all that it's definitely worth paying the price of a place in a larger city.

This place is terrible. They keep your deposit and lie about why they are keeping it. They say their reason is in the contract but then when you point out what it actually says they change their story. So if you ever leave don’t expect your deposit back. I understand keeping some of you have to clean it but the only reason you shouldn’t get any back would be if it was trashed and clearly it wasn’t!

Watch out for the lady that lives bottom floor next to the office. She likes to stick her nose in peoples business that she dont even know. She is trouble and she will try to mess with you. Thats the only thing that makes this place miserable....and they wont do anything about her
