Lincoln Park Apartments & Townhomes

I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt it was important to share the positive experience we had with the management team( Sally, Heather and the maintenance staff) at Lincoln Park Apartments. Due to an unexpected water leak in our original unit, we had to relocate to a different apartment. Their professionalism, and care made a difficult situation much easier to handle. It’s not every day you come across a management team that truly prioritizes residents’ comfort and well-being. We’re very grateful for their support and quick action.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE!! This place has a huge mice problem that they don’t want to fix. They damaged my daughter toys, clothes, sneakers, and whole bunch of food that we were never reimbursed for. Was told they would take care of it and not once an exterminator has come to property. Don’t let the pictures of the property they have on there site fool you. The places they rent are small and dingy. Appliances if not out of date are filthy or just doesn’t work and they will take your whole deposit to do upgrades for the next group of people and tell you that they had to “fix a lot of things”. Second review. We can now include the mold in the ac units, the non functional upstairs back bedroom heater , the out of code and illegal electrical box that has a 40% failure rate . No fire extinguisher we were promised when we moved in.. we finally bought our own . Multiple soft spots in the flooring that were noted on move in. For now a whopping 2k in rent what used to be 750.. it's gone up about 100$ per year and more fees have been passed on to the tennants

I would have given this place a 5 star if they still had the old management there. This place is beyond horrible. FYI if you move there they don’t tell you that you have to get their cable. I was paying for two cable bills without even knowing. They add it to your rent. Also if you plan on moving out make sure you put in a request to fix everything months in advance because if not they will charge you. I put a request in like maintenance told me and they never came to fix anything and I was charged for it when I moved out. Angel is a horrible manager and should be replaced, her minion works there also and she is just as bad as Angel. It was a nice neighborhood until Angel came. PPL is going to hike up your bill. It’s about time I leave a review for this place. Lived here from 2019-2022. There is a major mold problem that anyone who rents from here needs to be aware of. Living here was the beginning of me becoming severely sick from unexplainable health problems. I was constantly sick to my stomach, having severe allergies, feeling faint, was drinking excessive amounts of water. Yes, mold can cause all those symptoms, actually it’s secondary metabolites called mycotoxins. I have struggled with a disease called mycotoxicosis for many years, with this apartment causing the beginning of a nightmare. While management refused ro acknowledge and tried to pull fast one after fast one. In the end I did some testing of my own and discovered how severe the mold levels were in that apartment.
