Had an appraisal a while back and the bank sent this guy out. I think his name was Jim. He appraised a brand new rehab at 62K. It was so obscene I just laughed. We didn't even bother to contest it. We paid for a whole new appraiser to come out and it appraised at 165K. Needless to say the bank apologized profusely and now whenever I see his name come across one of my files I deny the appointment and ask for a new appraiser to come out.

I had a very disappointing experience with this real estate appraisal company. The report I received was riddled with errors and inconsistent data that made it nearly useless. Key property details were incorrect, and the valuation seemed arbitrary at best. I expected a professional and accurate assessment, but instead, I got a report that raised more questions than it answered. They had to send a second appraiser to the house when they figured out that the first one was not on the banks "approved" list. I would not recommend this company for anyone needing reliable appraisal services.

DaGrosa appraisal was smooth and easy. When I called, they answered right away (already a good start). We were able to schedule the on-site visit at my convenience within a few days. The on-site visit was smooth and professional. The final report was issued quickly, less than 2 days after on-site visit. Thank you!

This company was only concerned with the amount of money I put into the property as apposed to the actual value based on comps. Speaking of comps, he used some that were over a year old in a strong market. He also used one that was only under contract and not sold. He was provided more current and appropriate comps which he refused to use saying among things that they were to large. Did I mention that one of his original comps was larger than the ones I provided. Very disappointed in his inability to review and be open to suggestions when valid evidence was provided. Just my two cents.

I am giving this appraisal company a 1 star review for the following reasons (I would give a 0 star if allowed): 1. Lack of communication 2. The appraiser twice gave an appraisal that was less than the appraised value from 18-months ago when the market had improved by more than 5% and rents were increased 3. The appraiser did not take into consideration the ample information that was provided to him by an expert realtor as well as 3 other similar appraisals
