Don't be fooled by the five-star reviews; most of them look like they were written by realtors, not actual homeowners. Lennar’s strategy is to rush you into an incomplete, subpar home by promising that any "minor" issues will be fixed before closing. In reality, they just push those repairs into a warranty period that they have no intention of honoring. Once they have your money, their standard response to every defect is that it’s "normal" or "within industry standards." I’ve had them out three times for an excruciatingly loud squeak in the second-story subfloor. Now they claim nothing can be done, even though a simple search shows it’s a fixable construction flaw.
