Lennar at Ponderosa Pines

It's like buying a new car. Do you want a Kia or Ford with zero miles on the odometer in a base-level trim? I'd rather go for a car a few years old, but with a proven track record and expected longevity for the next decade or two. I look for fuel economy, towing capacity, heated seats/steering wheel, sunroof and not dying in a crash. Comparing prices, one of these homes would buy mine 3x over. I sleep sounder with my Zinsco panel and low-battery smoke detector than I would in one of those boxes made of ticky-tacky. No wonder ticky-tacky has gotten so expensive. Some people like new things. You might, too. As a publicly traded company, though, Lennar will always place profit for shareholders over quality or satisfying marks they've already fleeced.

For the price being charged, the workmanship just don’t match expectations. Within a few months, cracks have appeared in multiple areas of the driveway and garage. Concrete is already peeling and doors and locks are misaligned. The neighborhood and floor plan are nice

Nice home. Toured it as part of the Fall Festival of Homes by the Spokane Homebuilders Association. I was impressed with the built-in ADU.
