We met landin in early july as we planned to list our home for sale . His knowledge of the current market was far beyond what we expected. He came well prepared with the detailed information about the comparable houses and educated us about the current market situation. After some discussion, we are able to formulate a price that was comfortable. He and his team were very helpful in helping us prepare the house to be listed. Landin Smith and his Agent Kimberly Larsen completely mis-read the market in advising us on selling our house. We finally sold it 8 months later (with another Agent) at $115,000 less than Landin and Kim recommended. They advised us to complete $30,000 worth of upgrades (which we did). Those upgrades produced no increased sales value. Just stop Landin in his tracks if he pulls out a blank sheet of paper and starts writing out the cost of each upgrade and how much it will return. It was all BS. We had a deal where their commission went down as the selling price went down. Once it was obvious that they were not going to earn commission, they quit trying.
