I do not recommend this apartment complex. I was going to wait until I was ready to move out before posting a review, but it can't wait as there are so many issues. The main issue is that I have tried to set up auto pay multiple times and have ended up paying late fees because the billing system isn't reliable. I end up needing to drop off a check at the office. This is inconvenient and the rent autopay is a scam. The "updates" to the buildings (painting, repairing wood stairs/patios/etc) are not beautiful. Instead of replacing a whole section of the stairway banister, they cut a chunk off, slapped a random piece on, and put paint on it. Construction materials are not cleaned up in a reasonable amount of time. There is dog poop everywhere. They just changed their policy charging people

Definitely don’t recommend I thought it would be a peaceful and nice place to live and sure the beginning was nice but then once my packages started to get stolen from the Amazon lockers because the door to those lockers was broken so anyone could’ve gotten in. I also told the office and all they said was “ my packages get stolen to you have to talk to the Amazon driver”. Which irritated me. Then I bought a house so I needed to break my lease and of course I knew the lease break fee is 5100 but also having to pay for rent and utilities even though you turned the keys in a month before the 60 day mark and they still want you to pay the pet rent even though the apartment was completely empty and had no access after turning the keys in. Another thing I also thought my security deposit would c

Lived here for an out a year and a half I think. I lived all the towards the back of the complex. During the day it’s very quiet, only time it was noisy would be when the school across the street had games going on. The staff was good, Maria & Rosie were very pleasant. Cons: Kitchen is very small, only has 1 true drawer. The water bill is very high. As a travel RN I would be gone for half the month every month and the bill would be between $160-190. I spoke to the staff about this and they said it’s because the water bill is split between everyone in the building, NOT per unit. Also check your disposition on move out because they should be returning $3,154 not $2771.

I’m giving two stars — one for the fact that I truly enjoyed my home and my time living here, and one for Rosie, the resident manager. She was always kind, professional, accommodating, and a genuine pleasure to work with. Unfortunately, I have to deduct the other three stars for a few major reasons: 1. The utilities bill. Lakeview Village does not cover trash, sewer, or water. While I understand this isn’t always standard, I’ve never seen these utilities cost what they did here. My monthly bill was **an additional \$200 per month** — much higher than the $50 or less I’ve paid elsewhere. This was an unwelcome surprise when I moved in three years ago, and while I adjusted my budget to make it work (had to), the annual rent increases eventually made staying impossible. 2. The 60-day notice

I’ve been here for a few months now and I still love it! I’ve never had issues with packages, or dog poop, or debris from the renovations. I feel safe here, it’s quiet and peaceful. Work orders get done super fast! The upgrades, painting, and other renovations are nice as well.
