Classic college housing landlords who could care less about the people living there and only about the money. We left the house in better condition than we came and yet were still charged over $150 in damages. We moved out of state and waited 7 months (which we traveled back to MI and had to pick up ourselves) for our security deposit and had to pay a stop fee since it got “lost in the mail.” The place was renovated while we were there which was nice until it took 3 months of living in construction with no monetary accommodation. On top of everything we felt we were low-maintenance tenants and they still decided to raise our rent even though we had lived there for 3 years. I lived with LaBelle in 2 seperate houses for a total of 3 years. After living with 4 different companies during my time in Mount Pleasant, I can say that LaBelle was the best. The houses were well maintained. Any time there was an issue (one time a part of my water heater died, another time there was a ceiling leak due to extreme heavy rain) maintenance was at the property within an hour to start assessing and fixing the issue. Nicole and Amy are always kind and helpful, and Bob from maintenance is great as well.

I dealt with a lot of bad landlords during my 4 years at CMU but Labelle was the best one. Amy and Nicole were amazing the whole time. They helped me find a good place for my final semester, helped me upgrading to a better room and with anything I needed. This was also the only time I actually received my security deposit back and they both went above and beyond to make sure I received. You guys were awesome. Thank you for everything !

/GO ANYWHERE ELSE TO RENT OR BUY/ We all know that landlords are the lowest of the low, but Labelle Realty brings it to an even lower level with the help of Nicole Jesse and Amy Olson! If you want your rental experience to be full of pestering text messages, two attorney involvements on separate occasions, and unjust claims of damage on your final statement- then look no further. Our duplex was fine other than the fact that the windows and doors were old and couldn’t shut all the way due to warping, the oven ran very hot, and when we moved in there was no battery in the carbon monoxide detector. My experience with Labelle Realty has been nothing short of incredible so far! So often as a college student the renting process is made difficult by realtors who care more about their bottom line instead of you, not at LaBelle. Amy and Nicole are the most helpful duo you could ask for. During my searching and signing process I was taken on multiple house tours without it being a burden to either of them, something you wont find with many realtors. When I finally decided where I wanted to settle down for the upcoming school year (a very spacious LaBelle property) their same helpfulness was applied toward the signing process where they walked us through an easy step by step leasing contract in less than an hour.
