A couple of years back, my fiance and I applied to live here. We were put through the wringer doing the paperwork for applying since the property manager couldn’t figure out his computer and printer so we spent 2+ hours helping him with his computer to finish our applications. He told us he’d call us when everything went through and we could set up our move in. Just for us to get a call saying we were denied due to our credit scores. My fiancés credit score was 700+ and I had virtually no credit because I’ve never had a credit card or anything and the property manager was aware of this and told me “no credit is better than bad credit!”. He claimed my fiancés score came back in the 500s and printed it out for us to see. We don’t know what he used for the credit check because we could see us

I lived in this apartment complex for five years, and while the affordable rent and included utilities made it manageable, there are some serious issues that future tenants need to be aware of. The best part of living here was my neighbors – they were wonderful, and that’s a big reason why I stayed as long as I did. My apartment was considered “renovated,” though it was only up to about 2015 standards with basic hardwood floors and standard white appliances and painted “Millennial Grey”. Some apartments still look like they’re stuck in 1977. Even with the “renovations,” my apartment had safety concerns. Very slimey landlord. Agreed to put an extra month of rent down. Moved us in a week early for free. When the time came to use the extra month it was always “no” fast forwarding to moving out. Would not give the extra month of rent back. Called him to talk about it and just hung up when I had anyhing to say. Does all his repairs himself. Even electirctial. Very good place to move if you have low expectations. Not professional. Paid rent on time every month. Do not rent here. Very cheap and unprofessional. A lot of money to put down for 915$ rent and security deposit. But definitely “didn’t” give him an extra month of rent upfront. Doesn’t like to put things in text and just calls to protect himself.

Beware when signing a lease here. They get very defensive when you want to read the lease and I am glad I did. First it seems they did not pay attention and printed the lease with several spelling errors. Most notably my first AND last name. It happens but the lady was very rude when I asked for it to be corrected. Next the woman hands my spouse a 3 page document and tells her to sign it. Only explaining it after I asked to read it. As part of the agreement they ask you to sign a 'bed bug addendum'. This states you agree to pay for all bug treatment services should it be needed. It also states they get to choose the provider performing the service and can do quarterly inspections of your apartment. Not a big deal, i dont have bugs... right? Evidently the person who gave this apt. complex a 5 was paid off. Mark the property manager is a complete idiot and a total liar. Mark tried to rent me the apt where the double homicide happened. I asked him if this was the apt. He said "No it was another apartment" He also lied when I asked why my door trim was broken and plastered with off color plastic wood. The neighbor said "Don't listen to anything Mark says. the police broke down the door to arrest the last tenant and the tenant before that" I feel this half finished apt is nothing but a set up to rent and evict. After a middle age couple moved out of the above apt. Mark rented the 2 bedroom apt. to a young couple with 2 girls and 1 boy approx. ages 9,10 and 11. This is the ruddiest family I ever met.
