Jersey Walk

I cannot believe I’m getting ignored or gave run around to get my deposit back! I’m being told we are looking into it and will follow up and I get no response. It’s almost 2 months and I still didn’t get my deposit back. Then when someone finally picks up I’m met with aggression so that shows, they are purposely avoiding my calls. I have been a good tenant. I’m very shocked at the unprofessionalism. Be aware if you rent here you won’t see your deposit back. I’ve rented in places in NYC and I NEVER had this type of issue

I live there for two years never missed one rent . I had a wonderful experience love the place my kids was always running outside on the yard nice place for kids to play without going out on the streets .had gym, parking at a fee but it was good. Joseph and Carolina was always there to help me when I need something .Just didn't like to many dogs but all other thing was great. We moved out .because need a bigger place for my two kids. And a two bedrooms at jersey walk was to expensive for me .

When I have had the need to move, I always read previous reviews about the place, but I also allow myself to visit the place and meet the staff before making the decision to move. My personal experience as a resident of Jersey Walk has been rewarding. From day one, communication with the current management has been courteous, efficient, clear and timely. I have had an incredible stay in this cozy apartment, the interior views and the details in the social area are charming. It is a pleasure to be able to have areas designed for all members of the family and to have the opportunity to celebrate important holidays with the entire community.

I lived here temporarily on a healthcare contract in NJ. At the time it was quiet enough, I enjoyed the location, and the apartment was small but clean & cute. I discussed paying prorated rent with the owner as I was moving out midway through the month & was told I could not be refunded my money for the remaining part of the month right then for some reason through their system & that it would be refunded with my security deposit. They were given 30 days per NJ law to refund me almost $2k. 30 days came & went with no word so I reached out. I was told I could only be refunded via check for some reason again & I gave my current address. Over 2 months after my move out day I have been ghosted basically by management. I cannot connect to the number to talk to anyone & emails have went unanswer

If someone that lives here tell you this place is great and that you should move in…DON’T LISTEN TO THEM. The office circulated an email awhile back incentivizing (offering $300 per) current tenants to recruit new tenants. Why you wonder? Because this place is unsafe. The most unsafe environment I’ve ever lived in. I’ll provide more details once I move. And I’ll know the management here at Jersey walk is retaliating if they don’t pay back my deposit. Please don’t put yourself or your family at risk. I didn’t know any better when I moved in but should’ve as it’s been bad from the lump and has gotten way worse.
