My daughter bought a new home in New Bern, NC, Heritage subdivision. The home is nice; however the yard has a ditch on one side and needs filled in. They have equipment there and fill-in material as new homes are still being built. She has contacted the builder and his assistant, Ashley, numerous times to correct this. The last contact assured her they would look into/correct this. To date, nothing done! Poor customer service! Maybe she should contact the local newspaper and tv channel???

The building process went pretty easily. Our project manager Josh was great and always quick to respond and answer my millions of questions. After closing and moving in June, we had a 30 day walkthrough to point out things that needed to be repaired. It is now October, and these issues have not been fixed. Some have, but there are a few that stems to just be ignored. The warranty area has been unhelpful and in some cases unresponsive — one person in particular. The two men that have come out to do some of the repairs have been helpful but that’s where it ends. If you don’t stay on top of it, your issues won’t be resolved. This is especially frustrating, since we paid cash to build and referred 2 other builds to them. Be aware of that in the case that you move forward with them.

We had our home built by JC Jackson in 2013, and are still very satisfied over 10+ years later. They also made it completely wheelchair accessible for me. They were incredibly accommodating, customizing our home to meet our needs. They adjusted the floor plan by flipping it and extending the front porch as we requested. Most importantly, they made the home fully wheelchair accessible, tailored perfectly to my requirements. This option was easier and more economic rather than modifying a house already built. They modified the layout to include ADA-compliant doorways and a level monolithic slab for seamless navigation. Where space was limited, they installed pocket doors for easy access. I'm in the process of building a new home on my land in Craven County while still living in Maryland. I knew this would be an undertaking with the distance but I found JCJackson builders and they had great reviews. So I contacted them and started talking with Ms Kim and from that point forward I knew I made the correct decision choosing this company. Ms Kim has been absolutely amazing helping me through this process, she has made this easy and even when there were bumps in the process, she assured me she was right there to help, and we worked it all out and I could just relax and let her do her thing.. I had a house built in 22-23. I moved in September of 23 and within 2 months I was very concerned about the landscaping at the end of my driveway. The culvert pipe was only visible for about six inches beyond the driveway. Instead of a culvert running the length of the property, 2 rather deep holes were dug on either side of the driveway. After the second rainstorm, I took photos to show that the dirt around the pipe and a lot of dirt under the driveway was now in the hole. Subsequent rains have caused more erosion. I pointed the problem out at my 1 month inspection and again at my 11 month final warranty inspection. The company inspector took photos and said he would be in touch.
