Jaycee Place

Okay so how do I word this..the people of the building and staff have gotten worse but the building itself has gotten better if that makes sense. Let me explain there have been upgrading that made it look better the building but the staff have stopped having cook outs and party's and maintenance has gotten lazy sometimes they never fix anything until never. I'm still waiting for stuff to be fixed and I didn't even get a phone call back .

Pull cords are in each unit just in case someone needs help but the issue is people will just some times pull them to be annoying and bother others wake them up because the cords are loud and everyone on the floor hears them. I Don't understand why they have to alert that whole floor instead of just a ambulance. A lot of time only one elevator works. Which makes it a much longer wait and crowded space.Sometimes there's no hot water which stinks if you want to take a shower. This building has a lot of random inspections and notices. Rents pretty high but that is a lot of places. Parking can be tough I would say their isn't eno ugh parking spots. It's a brick building. If you are considering renting from Jaycee place, I strongly urge you to reconsider. I woke up today with no hot water and no notice or explanation from the building management. I wish I could say I am surprised but this happens often enough here. Although we have many mandatory "inspections" per year for maintenance, pest control, upgrades etc. Nothing is fixed, pest control does not come for treatment, and no upgrads are done. Also when giving the legally required 24 hour notice of entry, the notice will often come at less than 24 hours before the inspection. At times building management will also move the inspection date and time and not send out proper prior notice for the new date/time. My mother lives there and it's the worst, the management there are uncaring, they also have no visitor parking and they illegally assign handicap parking which is legally for anyone who has the permit So if you're visiting and have a handicap permit and park in handicap parking, they want to tow your car. That's not right. Making their own rules.

This place seems ok from the outside. But that is not the case! I'm very upset with whoever is running this building. There are lots of drugs going in and out of that place every day. I can't even go there because I am so uncomfortable. I get a very weird vibe there. It is very quiet but from the outside but they need to get on top of the drug activity!! That is no quality of life for others who are trying to have peace in their home and life.
