Iron Works Village

The apartments are nice.but Be warned they have zero integrity when it comes to the move out process. I had the property professionally cleaned after move out and they still said there was garbage and other items they need to charge me for. I have pictures of the entire apartment and it was spotless. I wanted proof of why they charged me and I’m still waiting. In order to protect my credit and name I paid the bill of inflated charges do to their leverage.What away to end a 2 year relationship where I paid you over $50000. They are just being pigs.

This place is flat-out weird. I don't understand why someone would put all that money into building 3 nice apartment buildings just to let it fall into disrepair. When I moved in years ago, there was maintenance over almost weekly for small building repairs like doors and lights. There was a cleaning staff that took care of the common spaces. There was an office that you could go to and speak to a human being in person. That all stopped the summer of 24. Elevator and hallways have trash that doesn't get cleaned for months. Place smells, and I can't remember the last time our filters got changed. It's been over a year since their last yearly fire inspection. I actually hate to leave a bad review, but was asked by the property to review after a change in management. While we have loved the actual apartment itself, as well as the lobby and maintenance staff, changes to our amenities happened abruptly, while rent prices went up. In short, we resigned with an INcreased rent under the assumption that we would continue to have access to a gym, pool, lobby (all things listed in the lease, shown as part of the apartment complex tour, and assumed would be continued as we lived at Iron Works). A month after signing, we were told via email that we suddenly do not have access to these amenities, with no change to our lease (a small refund was given that did not even cover the increase). We lived at iron works for 2.5 years. Overall we had an awesome experience. Damian is a lovely human and an awesome maintenance person- knowledgeable and quick to help. Adam, the property manager, was always helpful, friendly and very flexible with us on our move out date. We were building a house and the dates were tricky to nail down. He could have easily asked us for a longer notice or nickel and dimed us, but he didn’t and we really appreciated the help! Other Pros: apartments were originally built as condos so are high quality and quiet. You are only in a building of 12 units so you get to know your neighbors. Location is walkable to Broadway businesses (live Colore Italian, Swallow hill music and Black swan yoga) and great neighborhood walkability with several parks nearby. Also p

Chad Brown and his team have been the most helpful and responsive people during my move in. They made the move in process so easy and were so friendly when I had questions regarding the move in. These apartments were also beautiful and exceeded much of my expectations. Definitely my best experience in my years of renting and moving! Thanks to Chad and Iron Works Village.
