Intracoastal Realty - Carolina Beach Office

We lived in a home under Intracoastal for two years and they always fixed issues in a reasonable amount of time (often times day of). We even needed to move out a month early to move into our new place and they let us out of the lease without any extra charge! Shoutout to Denise Caprario for being a great property manager. 👏

Stayed for 2 weeks at Carolina Beach. Sept 14-28. The place was clean and organized. The MAJOR problem was the AC issue. They stated that we were not allowed to put the air below 70 degrees. This is with the outside weather being in upwards on 90 degrees. On top of not being able to turn the air lower the master bedroom had a ceiling fan that could not be used because the light would blink for a while then just permanently stay on. Not ideal for middle of the night when trying to sleep. For the amount that we spent and the amount of time that we spent there not to be able to have the ac at a comfy temperature was a little disheartening. Love carolina beach but will be looking for a different company to rent from next year.

Five stars for sure. We had a couple of issues with the rental during our vacation and the customer service was outstanding. Amy at the Carolina Beach office went above and beyond to help us with one issue in particular. When we decide to vacation in the area again, I am definitely using Intracoastal Realty again.

Stayed at the Sands, week of 6/11-6/18/2022. The kitchen sink wouldn't drain, so unable to use for a day. Commode not flushing, unable to use for 9 hours. Per Ian Crouse, at Intracoastal, the owner approved a refund equal to one day. I requested refund of the one full day and nine hours for the time the commode wasn't working. Not to mention all the phone calls and disruption of my vacation. I was having work done on my home, so was looking forward to relaxing. My request was not unreasonable. I have read some unfavorable reviews about this company. Seems like they are legitimate. Vivian Maynor

I can’t speak about Intracoastal realty in general, but I can tell you about Alicia Devereaux. My husband and I wanted to buy a house in the Carolina Beach / Kure Beach area, and we contacted Alicia based on a friend's recommendation. We couldn't have asked for a better realtor. Alicia is very knowledgeable about the area. She worked to meet our needs, letting us know which areas that looked great in February would become high traffic and full of party animals come summer, and directed us to some very nice properties. After we found our dream house, and were under contract and negotiating repairs, the seller died.
