The owner Chris was extremely knowledgeable and thorough. In a process that can be very stressful and place a lot of pressure on a first-time home buyer, he spent time walking my boyfriend and I through each of his concerns as if it were his own investment at stake. We will definitely be using and recommending InterCoastal Inspections for anything possible throughout our buying experience - very pleased for a reasonable price, and he even went out of his way to accommodate our last minute request outside of business hours. As a Realtor in St Augustine for the past 8 years I have worked with many great home inspectors over the years....but Chris Barnard outshines them all! He always fulfills his promises and over delivers to all my clients. I appreciate his honesty and candor and his downhome friendliness and his willingness and patience to answer all my clients questions and concerns.. This past weekend there was a mixup in the scheduling of a home inspection but he came to the rescue and did an inspection for us on his Saturday off! Chris did a major industrial inspection for me. The pre-inspection period was superb. Chirs was very responsive, told me exactly what he did and his costs and communicated often. He even described optional services and suggested we could determine those during the inspection. We had a 10 AM start time, and he was on-site by 9:55 AM. I very much value punctuality. His inspection was thorough and he spent much more time than I would have anticipated. He also suggested not paying for an option, since the result of such test was obvious without the test. His report was excellent and I would highly recommend him for any industrial or commercial need. Pricing was very reasonable, especially given the quality of service and the extremely high professional conduct.
