My inspection was conducted by Ed Okrei. While Ed was courteous and informative, I do not believe that he is sufficiently thorough. A few months after Ed's inspection, I have had to spend thousands of $$ repairing a well established foundation crack. Not only is the crack visible to the naked eye from both inside and outside the house, but the stains on the basement floor from repeated water leakage should have been a clear tell-tale sign to an experienced inspector. While several of Ed's observations were very helpful, this is a large oversight that should not happen with someone as experienced as him.

Ed has been a fantastic inspector for my clients over the past 12 years. He has performed dozens of inspections for my clients and I have confidently recommended him for several reasons: 1) He uses his experience of over 6,000 inspections and utilizes critical thinking to make connections between what's observed and what might happen in the future. 2) He puts everything in its proper perspective. 3) He properly explains each finding both verbally and within his reports. Ed does not rush things. He takes his time and uses his brain more so than fancy technology. I appreciate Ed's continued efforts and good communication from setting up an inspection to follow-up questions after an inspection has concluded.
