Housing Authority-City-Orange

Stressful and infuriating experience with housing authority of orange. Received my offer letter the end of May, returned all paperwork asked and gave them a deposit. Constantly tried to communicate with my case worker I.G. who avoided me and barely responded back to my calls or email. I had to speak with the supervisor a couple times just to see what was going on. In conclusion, I went to get my deposit back and still got the run around. I will be filing a complaint.

Housing authority really can't say enough about housing authority they your golden egg when I first got my voucher in the mail after being on the waiting list I new I found the golden egg , & it was time to start a affordable home to live in til I became a home owner they where there for my kids & me , I had my voucher in Port Arthur tx & they would sent a check for to help with a bill doing my struggles of having to buy school clothes & supply I had great support to keep my kids warm and sheltered

The work is here act as if they're paying for the rental assistance their self's. They are very very rude. My daughter was placing an apartment at Alexander homes in Orange Texas where the rats had taken over the roaches are so bad you can't even sit your food on the counter. She has little children and she had nowhere to go at the time I didn't have a place to call home to allow her to stay with me. So she was forced to accept this apartment. If she didn't accept the apartment she would end up homeless with her kids. We brought the newborn baby home over there and the rat attacked the baby trying to get his milk. I'm not talking about a mouse I'm talking about a humongous nutria rat

Not well ran, and very unprofessional as well as unorganized. Needs a new team throughout the entire building!! The majority are thief's and will do whatever possible to get money

These people do not know how to do they job I’m 19 and I can do they job better than them
