Sussex Manor Apartments

I’ve had a great experience living here. The apartments are clean, well-maintained, modern, and very peaceful. The location is excellent, and the environment feels safe and welcoming. I would especially like to recommend Mario, the manager. He is extremely kind, professional, and always willing to help with anything that comes up. His attention and friendliness really make a difference and make this place feel like home. Highly recommended!

Me and my boyfriend’s a/c broke and they closed our ticket without fixing it. It’s currently 74 in our apartment plus our upstairs neighbors a/c unit keeps getting clogged up and this is the 8th time it’s flooded our bathroom. They fix the a/c unit but it’s keeps flooding. The one bedroom one bath isn’t worth $900 a month. Plus every they try and raise our rent by 100 plus dollars. Our a/c has broke 4 to 5 times.

The manager is energetic lol. This place is a lot cleaner than it used to be. It looks like they redid the whole place. Rent is inexpensive and it's pretty close to all the stuff in Orange.

DO NOT RENT HERE – Misleading Listings and Infestation Issues Mario is not honest about the condition of the apartments. The units are nothing like what’s advertised online – the photos are completely misleading. When I moved in, I quickly discovered a severe infestation of German roaches and termites. At night, termites were literally swarming my apartment, and roaches were coming out of the walls and cabinets. It was disgusting and absolutely unacceptable. The property overall is very poorly maintained. It’s clear management does the bare minimum to keep the place livable, and tenant concerns are brushed off. I had to seek emergency lodging at a hotel because the bugs were so overwhelming — and even then, management showed no urgency or real care, and did not reimburse for the stay. Ma
