Absolute most unprofessional people I've ever dealt with in any industry. What could have been an easy, amicable transaction for both parties, was stretched into repeated phone calls and pleaded to get money they never should have taken from me. After my 30 days notice to vacate, I called and cancelled my automatic payments to have my rent charged, but still got charged. Then, after 4 phone calls and voice messages, all during normal business hours while being directed to a voicemail, I finally got reimbursed my rent after 14 days. Then, after 28 days, I finally received my partial security deposit, in which they charged me $310 to clean 200sq ft of clean carpet. I left the apartment in excellent condition, even painted over small areas, such as wear from the couch and cleaned every inch t

It was a few years ago, but we moved out of our house, and they kept more than 1/2 of the deposit. The house was clean, and the only issue was the yard was not great (we could not keep a gardener). They charged us for replacements of items that were 20 years old, like the vent a hood, and the shower wand that busted, and I asked should I replace it prior to leaving. (They said no, don't worry) I always get all my deposit back., as I leave rentals in great condition. The only reason we didn't fight it is just prior to moving my nephew was assaulted, and we were all so stressed out. They knew this, as they were upset we wouldn't let them show the house before we left. My nephew was brain injured. Don't rent from them.

i rented a nice cute condo from Homes for rent. And i had steve to help me out. He got me and my family a nice place. i currently no longer there because of my husbands transfer job. But i would rent from them again. I love that they check peoples backgrounds before just renting to anyone.

phone calls never returned , sent messages never received..so HFR says.. when the tenants moved out they never did a walk through and returned the deposit , i am left with mismatched paint where the tenants touched up with wrong paint , dirty appliances , broken garbage disposer ,the place was not cleaned , After the tenant pays they wait 7 days for the check to clear , but yet 2 of HFR checks bounced i wish i would have done research before having them manage my property , i am hearing complaints from others now as well..definitely would not recommend. one star is to much !

Homes For Rent is the BEST! We have been renting from them for 5 years now! Great customer service!
