Hillview Apartments at Lewiston Housing

This apartment complex is actually very very big in comparison to other complexes of this nature in Maine, and I love the look of the brick!! I used to bring my son here, 15'ish years ago lol 😬) to the Hillview Resource Center Building (located centrally in comparison to the complexes that surround it, but towards the front entrances, so it's easily accessible and easy to find if you haven't been to this location previously) for pre-school. The playground is super duper small but the area is so confines and away from main roads that the level of safety seems incomparable to other options

I know people that live there. The amount of fights I've seen between Somalians an 1 or 2 year old kids out wandering alone. I'm so glad I don't live there. In my experience just visiting, NO WAY WOULD I LIVE THERE!! SOMALIANS ACT LIKE THEY OWN THE PLACE AN MANY ARE RUDE AS HELL but cry if your rude back to them. Housing needs to get this place under control SMFH

I don't even live here but do live nearby. For the past 2 1/2 years I have been dealing with unnecessary noise. There are smoke alarms constantly being set off & ignored for HOURS. I just finally decided to call about this, got the answering service only to be HUNG UP ON! I'm surprised that no one else checks to make sure their building isn't burning down. There is a car alarm that sets off every few days for 30 minutes or more each time. Plus there are children that get dropped off every weekday promptly at 3pm. Do you think the parents would be waiting for their children? Oh, no. They wait inside until the driver has to lay on his horn for their attention. There is also a playground in this area. I applied for assistance for the first time in my life a few weeks ago. They said to get my application back to the ASAP. I did as they asked thinking it would help me get an opportunity move into an apartment quicker. I guess I was wrong thinking that as it has been a few weeks and now I'm stuck in a hotel room.

I have filled out application for years to get into that place and I have never ever got a call back from them... To tell me anything... Wouldn't you think of I didn't quilfly they would send a letter explaining the reason... I've seen that place give people more then one chance. To live there even after they been evicted... So I don't see why I can't even get a call or letter denying me??
