The apartments are decent and I have nice neighbors. However, the management is terrible - they are non-reponsive, don't answer emails, the voice mail is frequently full and if you do get through, it takes forever for them to react. I frequently have to go to the office in person to make my concerns known. We are supposed to have garbage valet. In my building, garbage has been sitting in the halls since last week. It's really starting to stink and for what we pay, that's unacceptable. The dog park is filthy and frequently the dog waste disposal bins throughout the complex are overflowing.

The apartments are spotless and everyone is friendly! The office is super friendly and responsive too! We have never waited more than one business day to get any problem fixed. It could be considered a little expensive but you definitely get what you pay for (in a good way!). Pool, gym, cable, wifi, valet trash all for $200 a month. Just for comparison cable and internet alone would be about $150. People complain that there are surprise fees but everything is laid out in writing when you move in. Also, people complain about the late rent fee—if you pay your rent on time that won’t be a problem… It’s nice to love where you live! Highly recommend!

Moved into Highland Hills in May of 2019 and took an 18 month lease. With rent for a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, dog rent, mandatory amenity package, electricity and water bill.....it runs us about $2,200.00 a month. It may seem on the higher side for northern Rhode Island...but I absolutely love my apartment! I'd rather pay more for quality than settle for $700 rent in a 100 year old house in Providence. We are only 2 humans and a medium size pup, so the 2 bedroom is a perfect size. Both bedrooms have lots of space, huge closets and a bathroom. The apartment complex itself has a pool, smaller side gym and a walking trail. Being so hidden behind the CVS headquarters is such a perk. (Not many people even know apartments are back here!). The small downside as mentioned in pervious reviews are the thi

Awful experience trying to apply and move in. Lack of response via email and calls were not returned. Sadly I loved the property but the process was frustrating and disheartening. Found out 9 days before moving, our dog was denied after being told we were approved for the second time. Having to scramble now to find somewhere else to move with no time is horrible. Would not recommend. The only positive is Kristen was amazing throughout the beginning of the process but once the property manager stepped in everything went down hill.

Hello-- I would to make it explicitly clear. I have been emailing the apartment complex manager AND visiting the office in person since January 2025 to advocate about the poor condition of the dog park. There has been NO action done to restore it. I am posting pictures here with the hope that someone at corporate will do something. I would love to say highland hills feels like home, however their lack of care for amenities (that they charge monthly for) really makes me feel that they do not care about the community they house. If they re-mulched the dog park I would have ZERO complaints. Please im begging can someone look into this?
