I'm going to be as transparent as possible as a former resident by breaking this down into several categories: Staff: I found the staff to be rude at times. Office and Maintenance. They had some major turnover when an investment firm took over, got rid of all the friendly people in the office. Occasionally they'd send out rather nasty general emails to the entire property Maintenance team as well, during my time there it didn't appear any of the staff lived on property which really reflected their lack of care for the place. A lot of "not my problem" as they pass by the same messes for weeks without picking it up. While they do perform repairs in a decent amount of time, their policy on A/C repairs is very questionable(at the time I lived there, they said they wouldn't fix it if it was 85

My resident experience has been great overall. The community is clean, quiet, and well-maintained, and the staff are friendly and responsive whenever I have questions or maintenance requests. I’ve enjoyed the amenities and the sense of safety and comfort here.”

Posting as a consumer and personal experience. Just moved in and apartment wasn't cleaned or painted prior to move in. Several safety, mold, an other issues identified directly with Asst. Manager in person on move in. Was informed Management working on correcting the issue. I will update the review upon completion. Update 1 and 1/2 months later..no Mold Remediation. Minimal to No repairs for safety issues. Trip & Fall, etc. If repair done, it's worse than it was in the beginning. Example: Caulking master bathroom and fixing rust hole in tub. Repair is a worse and "new" caulking has holes which allows mold within 1 week. Also, some strange substance sprayed as coating peeling off and attaching itself to soap; and self while showering / bathing. Local Management not responsive to requ

Don’t Expect to Get Your Deposit Back No matter how well you clean, don’t expect to get your deposit back at Cumberland Apartments. We left the place in great condition — cleaned thoroughly, followed the lease, and took care of the apartment. Despite that, they kept 75% of our $2,000 deposit, claiming only a “small portion” was refundable with no real explanation. We reached out to ask why and were met with vague or no answers. It honestly feels like they planned not to return most of it no matter what. We were respectful tenants and still ended up being treated unfairly. Future renters — be careful. Document everything and know that getting your deposit back may be a fight.

My experience at Cumberland Crossing has been wonderful. It all started with a great experience at the Leasing Office . Lauren Kellerman was amazing making my introduction to the property and application process flawless. Her knowledge and experience made everything so comfortable for me. Since then my stay here has been very positive and pleasant. I look forward to my future time here.
