Hidden Lake Apartments

Lived here for a year, would recommend living elsewhere. Moved into an apartment that was disguising, not cleaned. Had to clean the whole place myself due to the fact I was coming from out of state and they couldn’t get a cleaning crew until days later; was never compensated. Everything in the apartment is cheap, walls were paper thin. Could hear everything outside of the unit. Common spaces were never cleaned by maintenance, cobwebs and dirt everywhere. Management is not responsive and often rude. My water heater also did not work for more than 10 minutes and every time I called maintenance to check they dismissed it. Pool is supposed to be for residents only but there were multiple times people would drive up with their car full of kids and hop the fence. Bend brought up to management th

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Quite literally the worst place I’ve ever lived. The management is unresponsive. An appliance is always not working, and takes days for maintenance to respond. Have another friend the currently lives here, has mold growing in her bathroom, they’ve torn the ceiling out, and haven’t fixed it in over a month and she cannot get ahold of anyone. I would avoid at all costs

Well since they do not care I would second guess moving in here. First thing was I had no hot water for a week after moving in, then have A/C problems ever since moving in. $250 plus electric bills because of it. Have put in work order after work order and they have done absolutely nothing. Most hot days the apartment hits high 70’s if not in the 80’s inside the apartment. Also floors and walls are thin and you can hear everything anyone does. Also a huge raccoon problem, and for awhile geese were all over leaving the whole property covered in poop. Also most repairs are poorly done and look horrible. Like they painted the bathtub with regular paint?? Peeled off after the first shower. Wayyy over priced for the poor maintaince. I lived here for two years and absolutely loved it! The community is super quiet, and anytime I had an issue, maintenance was quick and efficient. Even after moving out, the staff (specifically Brook and Lauren) went above and beyond—when I accidentally sent a package to my old address, they responded quickly, retrieved it, and held it in the office until I could pick it up. Their professionalism and willingness to help truly stands out. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place to live in Stow.

This is a beautiful place to live, from the buildings themselves to the trees to the lake and all the geese that live there. The people are very nice, too. And the women who work in the front office are kind and charming and helpful. I've been here for only four months or so, but Hidden Lake already feels like home. That is the greatest praise I can give.
