Hermitage Manor and Autumn Wood Terrace

I'm going to leave this comment, and I hope you'll take the time to read it before deciding to live here. Previously, they had a very good and hardworking staff. New staff recently arrived, and they've been a disaster. They came to my apartment to do two work orders, and both times they came, they smelled of alcohol. It's unacceptable for them to work like that because they could do a poor job or even do something to me or anyone else who's alone, because a person under the influence of alcohol doesn't think things through. If you need to save money this is the place but you definitely will get what you pay for. The staff changed when I first moved in. I didn’t realize the complex qualified for section 8 until after I signed my lease. Some of the neighbors are nice and mostly keep to themselves. Some neighbors are disturbing. I did see unsupervised children out and they are careless about other peoples property. I had 3 cars broken into on different occasions. Management says they have security but you never see them unless they are putting a violation sticker and you don’t see security then. Maintenance tries to keep the area clean but who would want to keep cleaning EVERY SINGLE DAY? There isn’t a big maintenance staff only 2 as far as I know. The Ghetto!! I have lived here for Three years, and in the beginning this was a beautiful place to live. But...it has gone to hell in a hand basket!!! This complex use to be quiet (not anymore), it use to be safe(not anymore) in fact I can't even order a pizza and have it delivered because some criminal ordered pizza and robbed the delivery driver at gun point! It also use to be clean (not any more). People hang in the breezeways, in front of your door and on the steps then look at you crazy because you wan to get to your apartment. The kids here are horrible and have no home training at all, they piss outside, throw trash everywhere and vandalize your vehicles... I've enjoyed living here. It's nice, not perfect but anywhere that you live will have it's pro's and cons. Pro's to me: Spacious. At least the 3 bedrooms are. Loved my balcony. Didn't have to pay water. Maintenance always came when something needed to be fixed which was only 3 times out of 2 years. Nice size master bedroom. Good amount of closet space. Close to everything. Great area. Con's: My neighbors upstairs were awful with the stomping. Nice lady but they were loud as ****. There are a lot of kids. Kids used to be out at all times of night. NO STARS is what this place deserves. Pretty rooms but a horrible place to live. They had so much turn over in management. They would never come fix anything, and when I complained of the bug problem no one came. Not to mention all the break-ins and drugs that go through that apartment complex. Save yourself and your money from this place. So much more to the story, but I'll never rent from Bo again, what a liar.
