Despite high hopes and expectations, the reality has been far from satisfactory, leaving me with regret and significant financial strain. One of the most concerning aspects was the absence of a final walk-through before closing, a standard practice in real estate transactions to ensure all promised renovations are completed to satisfaction. In this difficult market, I can't thank Harcourts Vanguard enough for making it a pleasant experience buying my first home. I always felt like a priority working with Maribel & Moises. Any time I called, they always made time for me. Everything was transparent with me - They were honest with me if I was offering too much for a property, and every step we went through was explained in detail ( I felt like I took a course in real-estate - I learned so much!) Mike Shaffer was very rude and unprofessional to me. Kept calling people maggots and making references to people class (calling people trailer trash) and wouldn't shut up about his political views to me. I just wanted help purchasing a home and he made it the most horrible experience of my life. Extremely prejudice and plain rude. Talked down to me like I was his lessor.
