Harcourts Prime Properties

I was previously a tenant with Harcourts Prime Properties at one of their apartments on Bagley Ave in Twentynine Palms and never encountered any issues. The AppFolio app made it extremely easy to submit maintenance requests and pay rent electronically. The maintenance staff are experienced as well. During my tenancy, Sarah was consistently responsive to my texts, calls, and emails whenever I needed assistance. A few years later, after moving into my own home, I unexpectedly had to leave Twentynine Palms for work and needed help managing my property while I was away. Harcourts Prime Properties immediately came to mind because of the trust I had built with them over the years. Very scammy! I spoke with Sarah on the phone was and was fully transparent about my credit situation and income. she mislead me & was downright dishonest by telling me to "apply & they can get me into a place" Maybe she has to adhere to metrics, either way that is a waste of time & money for applicants. It's unethical to take people's money for credit checks. The best business practice, is to let everyone know, initially what would work and what wouldn't for approval. These property management companies are breaking the new- law regarding credit check fees. Honestly, they should pay the credit check fee themselves, to check people's credit, if the cost is on them, they will not lie and will only work with applicants, that they are truly interested in. The new law is: California's AB 249

Should have believed the reviews, at first the lady was responsive and answered our questions. She waited until AFTER we put in our application to tell us that they do not want to rent to first time renters (my 21 year old sons) but may make an exception as they had a strong co-signer. After we paid $90, they won't even answer our phone calls anymore. It's unfortunate that in such a small community that places like this continue to do business.

Aaron is being so helpful on getting the place ready. Initially I had issues when I moved in due to the previous tenants. Aaron asked me to submit the necessary request to fix the issues, he has fixed everything I requested to be fix. I occupied a rental property for 32 months, When i moved in the property was dirty and not in a good condition. Harcourt Prime Properties is under new managemnt, i provided over 52 pictures i took when i moved in and clean the house better than it was recived. I was charged $468 for clean house for move out repair, which is a rip off for the management. If you ever rent from the property seek all legal matters to ensure the deposit is protective, this people dont have no consideration for military memebers and only care of taking advantage of service member

I talked to Zach a few times over the phone. He had great customer service. I met with Sarah in person and am moving in a property they manage. Property was clean! Sarah explained the process and was on time to show property. I believe will have good experience with this property management company! Seems like a quick and easy process! So I moved in and was a great experience the couple things in every move that went wrong Sarah sent somebody right away. I think the bad reviews on here are just miserable people in general. I've had nothing but the greatest experience and customer service.
