If I could give 0 stars I would. The worst management possibly ever created. My kitchen sink at penthouse apartments kept backing up for no reason at all. I would be sitting on my couch & my sink would be flooding to the top. I reached out to maintenance to fix the issue but of course the issue was not fixed. This has been a non stop issue causing my dishes to infected with dirty sewage water & I’m pretty sure no one wants to eat out of that. Welp now my kitchen sink flooded my whole kitchen. Half of my living room carpet which now has created mold on my furniture. They had blow fans blowing nonstop sewage air from the carpet. Half of my kitchen was under construction & they deemed in safe to live in with two of my children breathing mildew carpet air & fans all of my kitchen. Base boards

Daisy Trujillo doesn't do her job as an apartment manager at Sunset trails. Corporate puts bandaids on everything. Might as well find a place with an active manager that actually cares. I asked the apartment manager why my apartment wasn't repaired after 2 months of waiting and she had the nerve to have an attitude with me. I wish someone would tell the truth and just say this unit needs work and move us to another unit. But instead we have floods, ruined furniture etc and nothing is done. Definitely moving when the moment I can!

Slumlords? No, Bumlords! I had a defective toilet that kept recycling and ran gallons of water on the floor causing damage to the walls. Mind you, I was on my 1st 4 months of housing and if you lose your apartment within the 1st year, you lose housing. So, I called HCA (Corporate) and explained how it recycled and ran out the water. I told them it must have happened when my son used the restroom. The lady on the phone, blamed it on my son, saying that he kept flushing it. Newsflash, a toilet won't keep flushing in a row, the tank has to refill. She wouldn't hear any different and was rude. Housing said there was a chance they'd retaliate, so I couldn't take the chance. I had to pay $1500 in payments. They also keep lots of disabled people who need live ins, from the care they need. Horrible management. We live in the Wintergreen Apartments in South San Diego. We have a mice infestation. The mice are comíng in through a hole in the wall. Four months later, the manager has neglected to send someone to close the holes. We told her to please take care of the problem and , that we pay our rent always in a timely manner. She said that had nothing to do with this problem. If we meet our responsibility, shouldn't the company fulfill theirs and provide a clean and mice free environment?

TERRIBLE. The most unprofessional staff ever, their Corporate Staff Anna refused to speak to me after I told her about my unit (81) was and is completely infested with cockroaches and endangering my child. They did absolutely nothing to fix the problem except spray all my stuff with toxic chemicals. They had absolutely no remorse for the terrible conditions of the apartment. I had to seek legal action and write to the better business bureau. I'm completely disgusted with how little they care about tenant issues.. also you could break into any unit by sliding a simple card through the door. Completely unsafe.
