Hamlet At Maumee

Nice clean place to live with a pool and exercise building. You do have your own garage. Parking is a little tight. The maintenance man Sam is very kind. Hard-working gets things done. Takes care of the pool, checks it to make sure it is at the right level of chemicals. I believe it's in new hands again. It has changed twice since I've been here so therefore rent did go up since I've been here going on my fourth year. Not sure if I'll be here next year. Never have any problems with neighbors. In a quiet setting and just go out to the main road and you have multiple places to eat and shop and the park just down the road in any direction. You have the turnpike just down the road if need be or go down the trail within 5 minutes you can get it on the highway to Ann arbor or to Florida LOL

Nice, convenient and quiet area. All of the neighbors I’ve met are nice and chill. However, it seems like something is always breaking. Management says they order the part but then it still takes several + months to actually fix and makes me wonder if they actually order the part when they say they do. The pool was shut down all summer besides maybe 2-3 weeks only to shut down again for a new issue. My A/C broke in August (almost 2 months ago) and the new one has still not been ordered. Overall not a bad place to live but there’s definitely better places out there for your money. Rent gets raised every year or every time you resign your lease but no renovations/updates are done to make it worth it.

update: we moved out and they charged $175 to clean the small bathroom and $75 to fill the nail holes with maybe $3 worth of plaster. and they charged us to clean the washer and dryer that we put in maintenance requests in for multiple times bec the dryer wouldnt work. It’s a joke. And we called 10 times in a week and no one answered. Finally when we got a hold of them they said they just weren’t going to send us our additional $960 bill because they didnt have a forwarding address and were just going to screw us over and charge us extra late fees. She had the nerve to ask with only 2 weeks left to pay if we wanted her to email us the bill. Like??? Most greedy landlord ever. pool was open for less than a month. 11/29/2023 This apartment complex is amazing!! I’m going on my third lease at The Hamlet Apartments. Today I’m reviewing the maintenance staff. This morning I awoke to soaked carpet outside my Hot Water heater door. I called the maintenance phone number and reported my situation at 9:27am. Maintenance arrived at my door in 11 minutes. They identified the problem and started the repair work immediately! This has been my experience with The Hamlet staff each time I’ve ever called! I couldn’t be more pleased with the service, the quality of their service or absolute professionalism of the Hamlet staff! Kudos to the Hamlet!

Stayed here a year after the sale of my house and moving back to the area. Great location, safe, clean apartments with a garage included. Tracy is the Apartment Manager and she was always quick to help with any issues I had..which were very few. Would absolutely live here again, especially since some of the apartments now have washers/dryers in the units.
