Hamilton Place Apartments

We lived here for a year, and I’d like to begin by highlighting a few positives. The units are spacious and relatively affordable. The community itself is made up of friendly, respectful residents, and that made our stay more pleasant overall. However, our experience with the apartment and management left much to be desired. When we moved in, the unit was in a disgusting state—filthy floors, dead bugs in the cabinets, and blinds stained with animal urine from previous tenants. Despite this, we did our best to settle in. One of the most frustrating aspects was the lack of responsive maintenance. We submitted a work order for a stove that not only didn’t function properly but had visible cockroach remains inside. Despite multiple follow-ups, it was never addressed during our entire lease.

They charged me an extra $100 for things left behind and the pictures that they sent me were all items I have currently in my possession and I have photos from when we moved out then said I couldn’t dispute the charges they lied to me and my partner about a manager being in a meeting and then told him there wasn’t anyone higher to speak to then the receptionist. I was about to take them to small claims but just decided to pay it so they don’t send me to collections and I don’t have time to deal with them after everything else I’ve had to deal with from them. The maintenance is horrible and still hadn’t fixed a dishwasher I had put in a maintenance request for 3 times in a span of a year. They also didn’t fix my toilet from when I moved in until I put in a request for a leaky sink they go

Asked a leasing agent for a jump and she claimed her "new" Hyundai couldn't jump-start another vehicle. So, clearly you don't need a college education to work here 🤣
