Halyard Apartments

I've been a resident for six months and it has been a fantastic experience so far. The apartments are in excellent condition, and the building is consistently clean and well-maintained. I especially love the common area spaces! I've made great use of the clubhouse, business center, gym, and outdoor grill area, and truly appreciate having these high-quality amenities available. I love the office staff. They're friendly, professional, genuinely caring, and go above and beyond in so many small ways. That kind of care and attentiveness really makes a difference. I’ve been living here for a while now, and it’s been a great experience. The building is always clean and well taken care of, and the maintenance team is quick to respond whenever something comes up. The office staff is super friendly and genuinely care about the residents, which makes a big difference. The location is convenient, and the community feels safe and welcoming. It’s nice to actually enjoy coming home at the end of the day. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and reliable place to live in Gloucester.

I have been here from the Halyard opening 4 years going on 5 years. Some people keep on bothering you and smoking in summer when windows are open ; non-smoking on this property, plus vehicles with security horns systems and lights should turn off at night so not to disturb your neighbors at Halyard Apartments from the parking lots. Very annoying. Plus when visitors come on weekends or days /nights whenever, they have no respect for regular tenants yelling and screaming in hallways or patio decks — they thinks it’s funny! The only other thing Halyard Apartments is not replacing is the dishwasher and disposal with what was first installed downsizing and raising your rent. Cutting corners. What’s next? My dishwasher is not the same as what I moved in 4 years ago with or the disposal unit

We love the Halyard! We’ve been living here for awhile now and the location is great. You’re close to everything..highway, grocery store, YMCA etc. The onsite gym has all the equipment you’d need and the clubhouse is a hidden gem in Gloucester for when you want to host an event.

I truly enjoyed living in my corner unit from the time the property was first built. It was a beautiful and peaceful spot. However, I ultimately chose to move out due to a combination of factors. The open green space where many of us enjoyed walking our dogs was planned to be converted into a YMCA basketball court, and at the same time, I was facing a proposed rent increase of over $300 per month. That, coupled with concerns about increased noise and dust from recent construction like the new parking lot, Cape Ann Savings, and the office staff sharing personal information to other tenants, made the decision easier. Another consideration that many new residents may not be aware of is the presence of nearby cannabis cultivation facilities located just across the rotary. During harvest times
