Very happy to be apart of the Halstead community, Barbie at the office has been very helpful with the whole process guiding us through not only tours of apartments but also showing us the amenities they have to offer. After figuring out options, we realized this was the best and im very happy with the choice. Been here for about 4-5 days already and I can tell you its already much better than the other place we were at!

PLEASE READ IF YOU PLAN ON MOVING HERE I’ve lived here for about two years and moved in right as the new clubhouse was being remodeled. At the time, the amenities were a major selling point. When the clubhouse first opened, it was genuinely great—quality pool and ping pong tables, and a really nice golf simulator. Unfortunately, the amenities have not been maintained at all. While some residents don’t always treat the space well, that is not an excuse for the lack of upkeep—especially when rent is roughly $3,000 per month. For example, no one can play pool or ping pong because there is only one cue (with no tip) and zero paddles available. The golf simulator hasn’t worked since around April 2025. I agree with a lot of the other negative reviews, especially the poor quality of the walls. You can hear your neighbors talking, sneezing, snoring, etc. You can hear everything!!!! You will never get a decent night of sleep. There is no privacy. I believe this violates a tenant's right to live in a quiet peaceful environment. This place is a dump.

Edit in response to leasing office reply: Thanks for the update on the entry system intercom repairs, but I find it interesting that this was a same day response to my Google review yet as of now (March 2024) still no response to my maintenance request for my intercom that I made in December 2023 as soon as the website portal was up. Keeping residents informed is clearly no priority. As my maintenance request says, the building's intercom system and entry door lock control being broken is not just an inconvenience. It prevents visitors from getting inside, and there still isn't even an Out Of Order sign warning people that they can't buzz many apartments. I have had family members and home health aides stuck in the lobby for up to an hour because of this. I had a visiting nurse unable to g

My neighbor blasts music with heavy bass until 2–3 a.m., shaking the walls. The so-called “walls” here might as well be made of paper — you can hear everything. I have complained to management multiple times, and they have done NOTHING. They clearly do not care about residents’ quality of life. This place is a nightmare — avoid it at all costs. —- Leave your delivery outside and it’ll be gone in under 10 minutes. Theft is rampant and management does nothing. Stay away.
