I've lived here since the end of 2021 and it has gotten progressively worse each year. There is dog feces everywhere, when we have stations with baggies/trash receptacles for convenience. Many people do not take care of the property, as there is trash, stains, and damage throughout the complex. The current mailing situation is horrific, with limited access/hours to pick up packages. None of our amenities are usable and we have not received a timeline on when they will be. The cleanliness in my building is atrocious. We used to have a cleaning staff come weekly to vacuum, mop, and wipe areas down, it's been over one month since any cleaning has been done. I have lived here for about one year. It started out great, we had trash valet, lockers to keep our packages safe, weekly cleaners coming to take care of shared community spaces/hallways. Then halstead took over and has tried to “update it” to make the experience better. It has been under construction for months. Most of the dog owners here let their dogs, pee, poop, throw up where ever they please. Indoors and outdoors. Trash valet was taken away (with no change in rent after taking away an amenity), the dumpsters are over flowing. They tell us to use the trash compactor but there is almost always a MASSIVE puddle of rain/melted snow that you would have to walk through to get to it. Packages are being stolen/lost weekly. I’ve been living at Halstead Franklin for a bit now and honestly, it’s been a great experience so far. The leasing office crew — Clarissa G. and Barbie — are awesome to work with. Super friendly, patient, and actually care about getting you settled in comfortably (which is rare these days). Maintenance is top-notch too. Clarissa S. and Bobby handle things fast and know their stuff — every request I’ve put in has been taken care of promptly and done right the first time. Big props to them for keeping things running smoothly. The place is also really dog & pet friendly, which was a huge must for me. There is some construction going on, but honestly, I’m glad I got in before it’s finished. It’s clear they’re improving things, and once it’s done this place will look better. At least a place

I have had nothing but the best experience so far with the new owners! The maintenance is great, and they respond quickly and efficiently. Clarissa with maintenance has been awesome. She cares about helping us and gets things done amazingly!
