Updated (8/2025): Title: Ongoing Health Risks, Poor Workmanship, and Warranty Failures My experience building a new home with Pulte Homes has been extremely disappointing and deeply concerning for my family’s health and safety. Issues began almost immediately after closing, and many remain unresolved despite repeated warranty requests. Initial and Ongoing Mold Problems Shortly after moving in, I discovered a major leak above the furnace that caused severe mold growth. This problem clearly existed before closing, yet neither the construction manager nor warranty team addressed it. Despite visible mold, warranty personnel refused to conduct air quality or mold testing, relying solely on photographs to dismiss my concerns. I was forced to pay for testing myself to ensure my family’s safety

I loved all the Pulte homes I looked at but I loved this location and amenities. Every single person at Pulte was extremely friendly and happy to help. My new home is very high quality and a home inspector found nothing wrong with it before my close. This home has so many high tech features, plenty of storage and excellent use of space. I highly recommend Pulte.

First let me say we were happy with the effort our customer care representative , Steve Davis , put into trying to rectify mistakes Pulte made during the construction of our home. We understand he was limited as to what he had the authority to fix, but it was those higher up the chain of command whom we are most disappointed in, the area construction manager, customer care manager. We lost confidence in our site manager as soon as the wall forms were set on the footings and one corner was hanging over the edge of the footing by a couple inches and she chose not to address it. Truss blocking in the peaks that only had a few inches touching on 2x6’s because improper angles were cut. We just celebrated our first year in our new Pulte home in the Greystone neighborhood. The experience from beginning to end has been excellent. When there were problems (which there always are), Pulte representatives did whatever they could do to help us get the matter resolved as quickly as possible. Our sales person, Mark Covitz, did an amazing job going through the entire process with us, and answered all of our questions, and when he couldn't he put us in touch with the people who could. Austin Kutch was our customer care manager and he has stayed in contact with us during this first year to make sure everything was as expected and the 11 month walk through, to fix anything that just wasn't quite right after we had lived in it - and that process was very painless.
