Four Winds Victorian Venue and Suites

At 2:30 this morning I wrote a review because there was so much noise outside my room that I could not sleep. I'm on a work trip and needed to rest before a long day of travel. I gave a four star on service, location, and rooms, but neglected to give more than a one star on the overall review- not intentionally.. When I checked out this morning someone from the main house followed me to my car and told me I was rude for giving them a one star review and that I was hurting their business and needed to change it. Really? Mind you, this was 8 AM and the review had just been written in the middle of the night. I assured her that was not my intent and that it was an error and would change it. I highly recommend the Four Winds for anyone needing accommodations in Bonham/Fannin County. It’s quite an upgrade over the area hotel chains. The home is conveniently located within walking distance to the downtown square, the park and local eateries. My room was lovely, very clean, with touches of comfort throughout the space and the en-suite bathroom is large with a beautiful soaking tub. As a solo female traveler I felt very safe throughout my visit. With older family in the area I’ll be traveling here more frequently and this will definitely be my first choice in the future.

This location is absolutely amazing. Jade and Nicole are super friendly and do everything they can to help you. I showed up and checked in before spending time with my son and they were super friendly and good conversation. The guest door is set up on the side of the house on the patio and parking is on the front side of the house on the concrete or along the grass. Facing the house not facing the barn. You have easy access from the road and can easily see this location from the road. The rooms are amazing and maintain historical accuracy for the houses of this age for the most part. We stayed for the Murder Mystery overnight dinner. We had the best time. We were assigned characters with back stories and had to talk to the other participants to try and solve the murder. They served a super tender filet with mashed potatoes, covered in a siracha seafood sauce. It was delicious! The owners were so accommodating to each of their guests. They made our stay most enjoyable. We would definitely do it again.

Nice Victorian house located near downtown and the courthouse. Perfect place to stay if visiting Bonham! Beautiful wall paper in the room and nice balcony.
