To sell or buy a home, working with First American Title has been a delightful breeze! Congenial, well educated staff has graciously answered questions and walked us through the process peacefully. We are thankful for the referral to use them and work with them!

Although the initial process of dealing with them when their buyer wanted to purchase my home was great. I was misinformed, misled and lied to about multiple sets of numbers. They failed to check the property and discover there was a lien on the property until after the sale. They failed to receive accurate reporting for the amounts due on the account. Instead of owning up to their mistakes, I was then forced to pay for their miscalculations and bad information. If you don't have people around you that you trust, I would not recommend you use this title company as you could end up in the same situation as me and be out almost twenty thousand dollars with a baby on the way.

Using this title company was a miserable experience. Our realtor did not want to use them, but the sellers had already started with them with previous buyers that fell through. We were set to sign on a Thursday and record on a Friday. I took time off of work for the Thursday afternoon and had to reschedule patient (I am a dentist), as they would not give a specific time for us to come in and sign. Our realtor was talking with them and they said everything was good about 1:00, but no paperwork came through and then they said they mixed up our file with someone else, but they would get us in at about 3. At 2:50 they call and say they can't get us in that day and come back in tomorrow and again didn't give a time. Our realtor was able to secure a time right after work so I didn't need to take

Charity and her team at First American do an incredible job! She has gone above and beyond in my personal purchases as well as my clients. She is my recommended Title Officer!
