If I could possibly rate this company any lower I surely would. These people are the TRUE definition of "SLUM LORDS". Words can not begin to describe the horrors and atrocities they have put my family through. I could literally write a book about what these people have done to us! Feel free to ask me about what they have done if you truly want to know. Fred and Betty Fern own over 100 dilapidated houses in Kentucky alone and more in Florida. Most of the rentals my wife and I have investigated should be condemned and are not up to any sort of city or state code; Building, Structural, Electric or otherwise. This property for sure and by the looks of them, most of their other properties have NEVER been maintenanced by Fern Properties. The houses are literally falling down..Including ours. Fre

I would never recommend anyone to rent from fred fern and his family. The house we rented had bed bugs. They told us 2 days before we were due to be moving in. We had to find a place to stay for 2 extra weeks before we could move into the property. They said the bed bugs were gone, but they weren't. I'm still dealing with the repercussions of renting from these people. They even tried to sue us after we moved out, even after giving proper notice and cleaning the property better then it was when we got there. The worst landlord experience I've ever had. Do not, I repeat, do not rent from these people.

Worst experience with a landlord ive ever had. Maintenance is poor, fixes are cheap and temporary, be careful when it comes to renting from these guys. Theyre all family and they dont give honest proper notice of eviction. Me and my family had money in pocket when they wanted to sign a forcible detainer not even with the time set outside of the 3 day grace period for LATE FEE, they took us to court because we didnt have full rent by the 6th of the month. They told judge they gave proper notice of eviction and denied our rent money after we cleaned, painted and sanitized a property we had planned on moving into. Now thats its clean and livable again, other then the mold in the ceilings and floors i assure you due to lack of maintenance to the previous tenants water leaks and damages, they h

You couldn't pay me to live in one of Fred's properties again. The place we rented was barely livable, and by the time we left, we were physically sick from the mold. Nothing was done about any of our issues. Do NOT rent from the Ferns. They take advantage of people who are desperate and struggling and will take every penny you have. Horrible slum lords.

Horrible management! Stay away from these people and the nasty homes they rent. Signed the lease before we could do the walk through on the house at 360 Grafenburg rd, once we got in the place was full of mold and it's a roach infested dump. Tried to explain to the owner Fred Fern that our son has asthma and can't live in a house like that, fred then says he couldn't give our $900 deposit back. Greedy pathetic old man!
